LPGA Fantasy Golf: Walmart NW Arkansas Championship DFS Picks
By Hans Geevers
This week, the LPGA Tour presents DraftKings fantasy golf fans with the 2023 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
The 2023 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship will be played at the Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas.
Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.
Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!
Here are my DraftKings fantasy golf player selections for the 2023 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
LPGA Fantasy Golf: 2023 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship DFS Selections
Atthaya Thitikul $11,000
Atthaya Thitikul has accumulated three top-nine finishes in her last five tournaments played (LPGA and KLPGA Tours combined), including a seventh-place finish at the 2023 Portland Classic.
Atthaya Thitikul is currently ranked ninth in GIR (greens in regulation-72.44%), third in overall scoring average (70.17), and fifth in total rounds under par (37) on the LPGA Tour.
It should be noted that Atthaya Thitikul won the 2022 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
Danielle Kang $9,400
Three weeks ago, Danielle Kang fired a third-round 68 at the 2023 Portland Classic en route to an eventual 14th-place finish.
I also like the fact that Danielle Kang has performed at a high level at this week’s event previously.
Let me be more specific. Since 2019, Danielle Kang has played this week’s LPGA tournament four times. In those four events just noted, Danielle Kang has accumulated three top-four finishes, including an impressive second-place result at the 2022 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
Jenny Shin $8,800
Since the beginning of June, Jenny Shin has played ten tournaments on the LPGA Tour. In those events just noted, Jenny Shin accumulated six top-23 finishes, including an eighth-place result at the 2023 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in June.
Additionally, Jenny Shin finished fifth at the 2020 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
Jeongeun Lee5 $7,100
Jeongeun Lee5 has accumulated two top-20 finishes in her last four tournaments played on the LPGA Tour, including an 11th-place finish at the 2023 CPKC Women’s Open last month.
Additional golfers I like this week: Georgia Hall $10,600: Jasmine Suwannapura $7,400: Ruixin Liu $7,100: Azahara Munoz $7,200.
