Fantasy Golf: 2023 Shriners Children’s Open DFS Player Selections

This week, the PGA Tour presents DraftKings fantasy golf fans with the Shriners Children’s Open. Let’s take a look at this week’s tournament from a fantasy golf perspective!
The Shriners Children’s Open will be played at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada. It should be noted that this golf course is approximately 2,700 feet above sea level.
Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.
Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!
Here are my DraftKings/fantasy golf player selections for the Shriners Children’s Open.
2023 Shriners Children’s Open DFS Selections
Davis Thompson $7,800
Davis Thompson has accumulated two top-22 finishes in his last three events played on the PGA Tour, including a 16th-place result at the 2023 Sanderson Farms Championship.
In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 Shriners Children’s Open field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Davis Thompson ranks fifth in strokes gained ball striking, sixth in strokes gained off the tee, and sixth in GIR (greens in regulation).
Thompson finished 12th at the 2022 Shriners Children’s Open.
Christiaan Bezuidenhout $8,000
Last week, the talented South African fired a final round 68 at the 2023 Sanderson Farms Championship en route to an eventual sixth-place finish.
Additionally, Christiaan Bezuidenhout finished 20th at the 2022 Shriners Children’s Open.
Adam Svensson $8,200
Adam Svensson has accumulated three top-16 finishes in his last four tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a 15th-place result at the 2023 BMW Championship in August.
In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 Shriners Children’s Open field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Adam Svensson ranks tenth in strokes gained putting and seventh in total DraftKings fantasy points scored.
J.J. Spaun $8,900
Three weeks ago, J.J. Spaun fired a final round 67 at the 2023 Fortinet Championship on his way to an 11th-place result.
Spaun also finished 15th at the 2022 Shriners Children’s Open.
