2023 Zozo Championship: Top 10 power rankings at Narashino CC
Keegan Bradley has about as good of a track record at Narashino Country Club as anyone.
The American’s improved in each visit to the Zozo Championship, starting with T-13th (69-63-71-69) in 2019, T-7th (70-71-69-65) in 2021, and first (66-65-66-68) in 2022.
"“Well, it’s just a really great course,” Bradley was transcribed by Tee Scripts. “Reminds me of the courses where I grew up on [in Vermont] where I was born, tree-lined holes, got to hit good shots into little greens, so great, I love it out here.”"
Not only is course history on Bradley’s side, but I expect him to be a motivated man. He was one of the first men left off of the American Ryder Cup team.
When you add that the Americans sputtered in Rome, I’m sure a fiery competitor like Bradley was stewing watching at home thinking how he could’ve helped the team.
He’s yet to tee it up competitively since the Tour Championship, so he’ll be rested and ready to make the transatlantic trek to Japan.
Bradley had a solid year in 2023 highlighted by his runaway win at the Travelers Championship. That was his second win of the 2022-23 PGA Tour season, which also included the Zozo and a runner-up at the Farmers Insurance Open.
The St. John’s University alum gained strokes in every category last season aside from around-the-green where he was exactly a net zero. Bradley’s overall game and 20th-ranked putter (.447 SG per round) helped him finish 22nd in SG: Total (.438).
