Fantasy Golf: ZOZO Championship DFS Player Selections

This week, the PGA Tour presents fantasy golf fans with the 2023 ZOZO Championship. A stacked field of talent, including defending champion Keegan Bradley, will travel to Japan in an effort to hoist the winner’s trophy on Sunday afternoon.
Let’s take a look at this week’s PGA Tour event from a fantasy golf/DraftKings perspective!
This week’s 2023 ZOZO Championship will be played at the Accordia Narashino Golf Club in Chiba, Japan. The golf course is a par 70 that measures approximately 7,079 yards.
Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.
Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!
Here are my DraftKings/fantasy golf player selections for the ZOZO Championship.
2023 ZOZO Championship DFS Selections
Sahith Theegala $9,000
Sahith Theegala has accumulated three consecutive top-15 finishes on the PGA Tour, including his first win at the 2023 Fortinet Championship last month.
In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 ZOZO Championship field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Sahith Theegala ranks fourth in strokes gained around the green, third in strokes gained putting, and seventh in strokes gained tee to green.
It should also be noted that Theegala finished fifth at the 2022 ZOZO Championship.
Cam Davis $9,500
The talented young Australian has accumulated five top-10 finishes in his last six tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a third-place result at the 2023 Fortinet Championship.
In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 ZOZO Championship field, in the last 50 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Cam Davis ranks fifth in strokes gained tee to green, seventh in strokes gained off the tee, and fifth in total DraftKings fantasy points scored.
Tom Hoge $7,800
Tom Hoge has accumulated two top-21 finishes in his last three tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a 13th-place result at the 2023 Sanderson Farms Championship two weeks ago.
Tom Hoge also finished ninth at the 2022 ZOZO Championship.
