This week, the PGA Tour travels to the Bahamas for the 2023 Hero World Challenge. A stacked field of talent, including tournament host Tiger Woods, will be in the field. Let’s take a look at this tournament from a DFS/DraftKings perspective.

The 2023 Hero World Challenge will be played at the Albany Golf Club. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,449 yards.

Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my fantasy golf/DraftKings player selections for the Hero World Challenge.

2023 Hero World Challenge DFS Selections

Viktor Hovland  $10,800

Viktor Hovland has accumulated two consecutive top-five finishes on the DP World Tour, including a fifth-place result at the 2023 BMW PGA Championship in September.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 Hero World Challenge field, in the last 50 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Viktor Hovland ranks second in strokes gained off the tee, second in strokes gained ball striking, first in birdie or better percentage, and fourth in GIR (greens in regulation).

Viktor Hovland certainly checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Hovland won the Hero World Challenge in 2021 and 2022. Clearly, Viktor Hovland enjoys playing at the Albany Golf Club.

Max Homa  $10,100

Max Homa has accumulated two consecutive top-seven finishes (PGA and DP World Tours combined), including a win at the 2023 Nedbank Challenge three weeks ago.

Justin Thomas  $8,400

The 2022 PGA Championship winner arrives at this week’s event in rather good form. More specifically, Justin Thomas has accumulated two consecutive top-five finishes (DP World and PGA Tours combined), including a fourth-place finish at the 2023 Nedbank Challenge.

It should also be noted that Justin Thomas finished fifth at the 2022 Hero World Challenge.

Next. Camilo Villegas' Second Chance. dark

Additional golfers I like this week: Cameron Young $8,700: Sepp Straka $6,700: Justin Rose $6,900.
