Fantasy Golf: Grant Thornton Invitational DFS Player Selections

This week, the PGA and LPGA Tours have joined forces to bring fantasy golf fans this week’s 2023 Grant Thornton Invitational. A stacked field of talented teams, including Tony Finau and Nelly Korda, will attempt to win this week’s inaugural Grant Thornton Invitational. Let’s take a look at this event from a fantasy golf/DraftKings perspective!
The 2023 Grant Thornton Invitational will be played at the Tiburón Golf Club (Gold Course) in Naples, Florida.
*The rules for this week’s DraftKings contest differ from the more traditional classic contests due to the fact this is a team event. Feel free to check the DraftKings website for specifics regarding the rules if needed.
Before I discuss my fantasy golf player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.
Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!
Here are my fantasy golf/DraftKings player selections for the Grant Thornton Invitational!
2023 Grant Thornton Invitational DFS Selections
Tony Finau $10,700
Last week, Tony Finau fired a final round 67 at the 2023 Hero World Challenge en route to an eventual fourth-place finish.
Ludvig Aberg $10,500
Ludvig Aberg has accumulated seven consecutive top-ten finishes (DP World and PGA Tours combined), including a win at the 2023 RSM Classic four weeks ago.
Brooke Henderson $8,300
Since the beginning of September, Brooke Henderson has played seven events on the LPGA Tour. In those seven tournaments just mentioned, Brooke Henderson has accumulated six Top 23 finishes, including a sixth-place result at the 2023 Maybank Championship in October.
Lilia Vu $7,000
The talented young American arrives at this week’s event in rather good form. More specifically, Lilia Vu has accumulated three consecutive top-eight finishes on the LPGA Tour, including a win at the 2023 Annika Tournament last month.
