The Butterfield Bermuda Championship takes centre stage this week as the 2025 FedExCup Fall winds down with its penultimate event. One week after Ben Griffin claimed his third win of the year in Mexico, the PGA Tour returns to Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda, for the tournament's seventh edition.

Port Royal Golf Course, a par-71 Robert Trent Jones design, plays a touch over 6,800 yards, making it the shortest venue on the PGA Tour schedule. Before welcoming the Tour in 2019, Port Royal hosted the PGA Grand Slam of Golf from 2009 to 2014.

Rafael Campos returns to the site of his emotional first PGA Tour win last year, looking to become the first player to successfully defend the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Campos will be joined this week by previous winners at Port Royal GC, Camilo Villegas (2023) and Seamus Power (2022). Other notables who are set to tee it up include Sahith Theegala, Matt Kuchar, and recent winner Michael Brennan, to name a few.

This year's 120-man field at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship will look to secure crucial FedExCup Fall points in the year's penultimate event. Let's dive into the picks and predictions.

2025 Butterfield Bermuda Championship picks and predictions

Top 20 pick for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship: Greyson Sigg (+190)

Greyson Sigg has put together some quality results this FedExCup Fall with top-21 finishes at the Procore Championship, Sanderson Farms Championship, and Bank of Utah Championship.

At 140th in the FedExCup Fall standings, Sigg needs to finish strong over the next couple of weeks to secure his PGA Tour status. The 30-year-old has played well at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship with three top-22 finishes in his last three starts at Port Royal GC.

Sleeper pick for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship: Justin Lower (+7000)

Lower tied for fifth at last year's event and hasn't finished outside of the top 20 in any start at Port Royal since 2022. Lower, who tied for third at the Bank of Utah Championship last month, ranks among the top five in the field in strokes gained tee to green over the last month, per Data Golf.

The 36-year-old, who opened with two rounds in the 60s last week in Mexico en route to tying for 31st, comes into this week ranked 108th in the FedExCup Fall standings, just outside of the top 100 who will earn their PGA Tour card for next year after next week's RSM Classic.

Pick to win the Butterfield Bermuda Championship: Patrick Rodgers (+3500)

Following a T27 finish at the Bank of Utah Championship, Rodgers closed with a 64 last week in Mexico en route to tying for sixth at El Cardonal. Rodgers, who is still looking for his first PGA Tour win, has come close at Port Royal GC with two top-four finishes in his last three starts at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. He finished tied for ninth here last year.

Pick to win the Butterfield Bermuda Championship: Nico Echavarria (+2800)

After winning on the PGA Tour for the first time at the 2023 Puerto Rico Open, Echavarria added a second at the ZOZO Championship last fall. He came close to a third when finishing runner-up at the Sony Open in Hawaii in January before posting a solid ninth-place finish at the Baycurrent Classic last month.

The Colombian closed with a 63 in Mexico last week en route to a T14 finish. He's finished in the top 30 in two of his last three starts at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship at a venue that should suit his game well.
