The RSM Classic sets the stage for this year's FedExCup Fall finale as the PGA Tour returns to St. Simons Island, Georgia, for the event's 15th edition. One week after Adam Schenk secured his first career PGA Tour win in Bermuda, the 2025 FedExCup Fall series will draw to a close with the last of seven events.
Home of the RSM Classic since its debut in 2010, the Sea Island Resort welcomes this week's 156-man field with a great deal on the line, as some are looking to secure their spot in the first two Signature Events of the 2026 season, while others are hoping to secure their guaranteed status on the PGA Tour for next year.
A touch longer than last week's venue in Bermuda, the Seaside Course at Sea Island is a par-70 layout that plays to roughly 7,000 yards. Seaside was a Harry Colt original design that Tom Fazio later redesigned, and it will host three of the four tournament rounds. The field will also play a round at the Plantation Course, a par-72, 7,060-yard, Davis and Mark Love-redesign before the weekend.
Harris English, Si Woo Kim, 2023 Open Champion Brian Harman, and 2022 RSM Classic winner Adam Svensson are a few of the notables who are set to tee it up this week in the FedExCup Fall finale. Let's get into the picks and predictions for the final event of the 2025 season.
2025 RSM Classic picks and predictions
Sleeper pick for the RSM Classic: Austin Eckroat (+8000)
Two-time PGA Tour winner Austin Eckroat finished T8 in his debut at the RSM Classic in 2023 before tying for 17th here last year. Eckroat has made the cut in each of his three starts during the FedExCup Fall, including a T11 finish at the Procore Championship in September.
Sleeper pick for the RSM Classic: Mackenzie Hughes (+7000)
The 2016 RSM Classic winner has a tremendous history at this event and has finished in the top five here in three of his last four starts. Hughes has come close to winning this event for a second time, having finished runner-up at the RSM Classic in both 2021 and 2023. The Canadian lost in a playoff this season at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic and finished T7 earlier this fall at the Procore Championship.
Pick to win the RSM Classic: Seamus Power (+6500)
Seamus Power withdrew from the RSM Classic last year, but prior to that, he had consecutive top-five finishes at Sea Island, having finished tied for fourth in 2021 and tied for fifth in 2022. Power, a winner of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship in 2022, finished T11 at Port Royal last week and tied for 27th in Mexico two weeks ago, so the Irishman returns to the RSM Classic in good form.
Pick to win the RSM Classic: Michael Thorbjornsen (+2500)
Thorbjornsen ranks sixth in the field in total strokes gained over the last twenty rounds, per Data Golf, and this is reflected in his excellent results throughout the FedExCup Fall, having finished no worse than 37th in any start since September.
Third in Japan at the Baycurrent Classic last month, Thorbjornsen returns to the RSM Classic having finished T8 in his debut here last year. He can follow in the footsteps of recent winners, Maverick McNealy (2024) and Ludvig Aberg (2023), by winning for the first time on the PGA Tour at Sea Island.
