The 2026 Cadillac Championship is a new event on the PGA Tour schedule this year, as the Tour returns to the Blue Monster at Trump National Doral for the first time since 2016.

Host of several LIV Tour events in recent years, the Blue Monster at Trump National Doral (Par-72, 7,739 yards) in Miami, Florida, ranks as one of the longest venues on the PGA Tour this season. The Dick Wilson design, with later renovations by Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner, should provide a stern test for the elite field teeing it up at the Cadillac Championship. Adam Scott won at 12-under when the Tour last visited in 2016.

The fifth of eight Signature Events this season, the Cadillac Championship boasts a strong field, headlined by the World No.1 Scottie Scheffler. However, with three Signature Events and the year's second major taking place in a five-week span, there are some notable absences from the field, including Masters Champion Rory McIlroy, Matt Fitzpatrick, Xander Schauffele, and Ludvig Aberg, to name a few.

Some of the notable names joining Scheffler in the 72-man field at Trump National Doral include Players Champion Cameron Young, Farmers Insurance Open winner Justin Rose, 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am winner Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood, Russell Henley, and Hideki Matsuyama. In all, seven of the top 10 players in the Official World Golf Ranking are set to tee it up at the 2026 Cadillac Championship.

The Blue Monster makes a welcome return to the schedule, but who will take home the title and claim the season's fifth Signature Event? Let's get into some picks and predictions.

2026 Cadillac Championship picks and predictions

Top 20 pick for the Cadillac Championship: Gary Woodland (+175)

A winner at the Texas Children's Houston Open at the end of March, Woodland hasn't finished worse than T33 in his last four starts, including tying for eighth at the RBC Heritage two weeks ago. It's been an impressive and inspirational season for Woodland, who quietly crushes the ball off the tee, ranking top five in the field, per Data Golf, in total driving distance.

Pick to win the Cadillac Championship: Hideki Matsuyama (+3100)

It's been a solid season for Matsuyama, who started the year with four top 13 finishes in his first four starts, including finishing runner-up at the WM Phoenix Open in February. He will make his first start since tying for twelfth at The Masters, where he gained strokes on approach in a third consecutive start. Matsuyama, who finished T35 in his last start at the Blue Monster in 2016, ranks fourth in the field in approach over the last thirty days. The 2021 Masters Champion could excel at a place that has seen some crossover with Augusta.

Pick to win the Cadillac Championship: Si Woo Kim (+2600)

Si Woo Kim could excel at a demanding venue like the Blue Monster. Second in the field to only Scottie Scheffler from tee to green over his last fifty rounds, Kim has had a fantastic season so far with seven top 13 finishes or better in eleven starts, including tying for third at the RBC Heritage the last time he teed it up. A winner most recently at the 2023 Sony Open, Kim could be on the verge of winning again real soon.

Pick to win the Cadillac Championship: Collin Morikawa (+1950)

After withdrawing from the Players Championship in March, Morikawa has looked good in his last two starts, finishing T7 at The Masters and tying for fourth most recently at Harbour Town. A winner in Florida at the 2021 WGC-Workday Championship, the two-time major champion won for the first time since 2023 earlier this year at the season's first Signature Event, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Morikawa has not finished worse than T7 in any start since early February and ranks top 2 in the field at the Cadillac Championship in both approach and from tee to green over the last twenty rounds.
