Top 10 pick for the Tour Championship: Russell Henley (+132)
Coming off a T12 finish at the BMW Championship, Russell Henley will make a fourth consecutive trip to East Lake. A winner at the Charles Schwab Challenge earlier in the season, Henley has tied for fourth and finished T2 in his last two starts at the Tour Championship.
He finished T3 here in 2017 and has accumulated five top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour this season. Over the last three months, per Data Golf, Henley leads the field in driving accuracy and ranks second in putting.
Pick to win the Tour Championship: Collin Morikawa (+2050)
A winner at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am earlier this year, Morikawa returns to East Lake for a seventh consecutive season. He returns to the Tour Championship having finished T4 at the BMW Championship in his most recent start where he ranked sixth in strokes gained: tee to green for the week.
Over the last 20 rounds, Morikawa ranks third in the field in both driving accuracy and approach, and he has gained strokes with his irons in every start dating back to the RBC Canadian Open in June. He finished runner-up at the Tour Championship in 2024.

One start removed from a disappointing playoff opener at the FedEx St. Jude Championship (66th), McIlroy had a real opportunity to win the BMW Championship (3rd) where he recorded his best finish in an event since The Masters in April.
He saw a run of strong results come to an end in his last start here, but the three-time Tour Champion has still finished ninth or better in seven of his last nine starts at East Lake. The back-to-back Masters champ comes into the season finale after posting his best result in a previous start ahead of the Tour Championship since 2012.
