After letting several tournaments slip away this season, Bryson DeChambeau finally hoisted some hardware on Sunday with a double victory at LIV Golf Korea, taking both the individual title and sharing the team title alongside Crushers GC mates Charles Howell III, Paul Casey, and Anirban Lahiri.

It's no secret DeChambeau has had some trouble in the final rounds of recent events.

In the week leading into The Masters, the two-time U.S. Open champ held a two-shot lead over Sergio Garcia heading into the final 18 holes at LIV Golf Miami, only to shoot a 3-over 75 to lose to Marc Leishman by four.

Then, of course, he was tied with Rory McIlroy with 16 holes to play at Augusta, but again shot 75, ultimately finishing four shots out of the playoff between Rory and Justin Rose in a tie for fifth.

And just last week at LIV Golf Mexico City, Bryson again took a lead into the final round and blew it, finishing three back of JoaquĆn Niemann in a tie for second.

For a minute, it looked as if DeChambeau was set to blow yet another lead on Sunday at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club. Entering the final round with a four-shot advantage, he watched his lead diminish to just one at the turn. Oddly enough, his Crushers teammate, the aforementioned Charles Howell III, making the charge.

But Bryson wasn't letting this one get away, as he made a barrage of birdies down the stretch, carding six over his final nine holes to hold off Howell by two, finishing at 6-under for the day and 19-under for the week.

With a cumulative total of 35-under, Crushers bested Brooks Koepka's Smashers GC by a whopping nine strokes to take the team title.

Sunday marked DeChambeau's first LIV Golf victory since September 2023 in Chicago and his first victory overall since last June's U.S. Open at Pinehurst.

Naturally, this being the Saudi-backed circuit and all, Bryson collected a pretty penny for his victory, making $4 million for his individual win and another $750,000 as part of the $3 million team prize. As such, he's now hit a wild money milestone.

Bryson DeChambeau has now made more money in LIV Golf events than he has in PGA Tour-sanctioned tournaments

The headline says it all, but in case you scrolled past it, DeChambeau has now made more in individual on-course earnings in LIV Golf events than he has playing PGA Tour-sanctioned tournaments, which includes each of the four major championships.

No, the PGA Tour does not officially run any of the four majors, but earnings from those events still count toward a player's official PGA Tour earnings. It's a little strange, I know, but it is what it is.

Per PGATour.com, Bryson has made 149 official starts in PGA Tour-sanctioned events. And in those 149 starts, he's earned $35,270,287, his last check being for $798,000 for his T5 at The Masters.

DeChambeau has now competed in 39 LIV Golf events. And in those 39 starts, taking both the individual and team payouts into consideration and including the $4.75 million he collected on Sunday, Bryson has now earned $39,632,428. So, that's $4 million more for 110 fewer starts.

And that figure obviously doesn't include the reported $125 million he was given just for jumping ship from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf. So, it's safe to assume that Bryson DeChambeau doesn't regret making the move in the slightest.
