PGA Tour Power Rankings: Mexico Open at VidantaWorld

Hey, remember when Tiger hit the sickest bunker shot around the tree at the WGC Mexico Championship, and then the Tour decided "Hey, let's just blow up the whole WGC network"? Super cool choice.

The PGA Tour is taking its talents south of the border this week for the Mexico Open at VidantaWorld, being played at Vidanta Vallarta.

The thing that I respect about this tournament the most is that the PGA Tour is actively choosing to continue playing one of their events at a course designed by public enemy number 1 of the Tour, Greg Norman (don't worry guys, that LIV deal is coming any day now). Do I wish the Tour was still playing the Mexico event at Golf Club de Chapultepec? Yes, absolutely. However, a change of scenery is always nice, so let's enjoy our Mexican vacation before we jump into the throes of the Florida Swing.

We're starting to find some form again with the rankings, we had a few solid finishes out of the picks last week in Scottie and JT, and the winner ending up in the honorable mentions, so congrats to Ludvig, we're counting as a half win in the season total. This week is very interesting to look at since it's not a field full of big names in the game of golf, and it's on a grass type (paspalum) that is not very common on the Tour, so we really just have to use the other courses that use paspalum and hope for the best.

Honorable Mentions: Rafael Campos, Ryan Gerard, Harry Hall, Beau Hossler, Jake Knapp, Justin Lower
