2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational: Top 10 power rankings at Bay Hill

We’ve arrived at the halfway point of the PGA Tour’s eight Signature Events for 2024.

This week features one of the tour’s staples, the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The event began in 1966 and has been at current host, Bay Hill Club and Lodge, since 1979.

This event annually attracts strong fields, but the Signature Event status assures all of the PGA Tour’s best are here in central Florida.

Weather for the week looks wet during practice rounds and on tournament days, so we may not be treated to the firm and fast conditions we’ve grown accustomed to in recent years.

Bay Hill measures 7,419 yards and plays to a par 72. Bermuda grass is in play throughout the course, as is common throughout the Florida swing.

Conditions on this Dick Wilson design have been mighty tough in recent years. Thick rough and fast greens add to the challenge of small targets and seven water hazards splashed throughout the property.

It’s an execution test on a course many players say is “all out in front of you” without too many blind shots or deceptiveness.
