Max Homa has three top-30s in his last four starts at the Charles Schwab Challenge.

He’s coming off a career-best T-9th (67-69-71-69) where he was in contention heading into the weekend.

Homa was solid in all facets aside from driving, where he was near last among those who made the cut in fairways found. He was good on the greens, ranking 13th in Strokes Gained: Putting (4.393).

Homa spoke last year about how this is one of his favorite stops on tour.

“It's always a cool vibe here. The city turns out really nicely for it. It has some meaning to the area, which is cool. Again, when you come to a golf course you like and respect how it's laid out, that adds to, I think, a lot of people's love for this place,” Homa was transcribed in 2023 by ASAP Sports. “So it's nice to see that it stands the test of time, and it's done such a good job of being a mainstay on this tour.”

Homa is trending toward a win with two top-10s in his last four starts, including T-3rd at the Masters. The 33-year-old took T-35th last week at the PGA Championship.

Homa is a positive in every Strokes Gained category, including 24th Around-the-Green (.331).

The Cal-Berkeley alum has been dialed in with his wedges, checking in at fifth in average approach proximity from 50-125 yards (15’11”). He’s also 13th from 100-125 (16’11”) and 18th from 75-100 (14’2”).
