2024 Paris Olympics: Top 10 power rankings at Le Golf National
10) Alex Noren
Ludvig Åberg is the face of Swedish golf, but do not ignore his Swede counterpart, Alex Noren.
Now 42, Noren is as consistent as they come, with 10 top-25 finishes in his last 12 starts. His game is remarkably well-rounded -- he will not "wow'" you with anything -- but everything he does is routine, steady, and calculated. A winner on this course in 2018, he may not have the firepower to win gold, but do not be surprised if he sneaks into contention on Sunday.
9) Corey Conners
Simply put, Corey Conners has been a machine for the past five months now.
Outside of Scottie Scheffler, Conners is arguably the best ball striker on the planet. His approach numbers are freakishly good, and he has now gained strokes in every PGA Tour event he has played this year. His game seems to be in a never-ending state of good against evil (the good being his irons and the evil being his putter).
Still winless on the year, the Canadian must be looking to break through the winner's circle. Perhaps it happens this week while representing his nation, eh?
