Tommy Fleetwood. Fleetwood 7. 7. OWGR: 11th. FedEx Cup: 39th

Tommy Fleetwood enters the week rested following two weeks off. He’s looking to get back on track after a middling T-49th finish at the RBC Heritage.

That was a departure from the stellar 2024 the Englishman’s having. Fleetwood won early in the year on the DP World Tour and has since accumulated three top-10s. That includes his two starts prior to Harbour Town, a T-7th at the Valero Texas Open and T-3rd at the Masters.

Fleetwood was without longtime caddie, Ian Finnis, in his last two starts. That will continue as Finnis revealed on his Instagram that he recently had successful open-heart surgery.

Fleetwood is itching to get Fino back, but I’m sure there have been some friendly barbs thrown by Fleetwood for how well he’s played without him.

Fleetwood is arriving at Quail Hollow for the fifth time. He’s thrived here his last couple starts taking T-14th (67-75-70-70) in 2021 and T-5th (65-71-67-70) in 2023.

Last year, Fleetwood was in the upper half of the field in all Strokes Gained categories. He was second in scrambling (76.47%) and tied for first in fewest bogeys made with five.

This season on the PGA Tour, the 33-year-old ranks 15th in Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green (.379).

Playing from the fairway is key this week. Fleetwood is third in driving accuracy (79.1%).

Fleetwood isn’t a super long hitter, but he can dial up enough power to get around this week if the rest of his game is clicking.

There are 11 par-4s in play this week. He’s 20th in par-4 scoring (3.97).
