2024 Wyndham Championship: Top 10 power rankings at Sedgefield CC

After a week off due to the Olympics, the PGA Tour has its final regular season event in Greensboro, North Carolina, this week. This is the last chance for players to make their playoff push, and only the top 70 players will make the initial event in Memphis.

4) Si Woo Kim

Tom Kim has made headlines this week for failing to medal at the Olympics, meaning he will be forced to serve in the military unless he can medal at The 2028 Olympics or win gold at the Asian Games in the near future. Si Woo Kim, Tom's compadre, won the gold medal with Sungjae Im at the Asian Games last fall to become exempt from future military service.

With that weight off his shoulders, Si Woo has had a productive year on tour, as he currently sits at 36th in the FedEx Cup standings. He has not "wowed" anyone with his play so far, but he has been steady. He has been one of the most formidable iron players this season, and it is a bit puzzling as to why he does not have a top-five finish -- maybe a sign of things to come?

The 29-year-old won at this track in 2016 and has posted a number of high finishes since. I fully expect Si Woo to contend this week.

3) Billy Horschel

At The Memorial Tournament in 2023, Billy Horschel fought back tears following an opening round 84.

“My confidence is the lowest it's been in my entire career," he exclaimed that day.

Just one year later, Horschel finds himself in the thick of the FedEx Cup title chase, sitting in 27th place. The 37-year-old and eight-time PGA Tour champion made headlines at The Open, battling through treacherous conditions to finish T2. That week, he gained 1.41 strokes on approach shots, one of the best marks of his career.

But it has been his putter that has carried him to five top tens this season, including a win at the Corales Puntacana Championship.

His record at Sedgefield -- five top-11 finishes since 2016. It would be irresponsible not to include the American in the top three of these rankings.
