3. Zach Johnson informed Keegan Bradley of his 2025 Ryder Cup captaincy

The final development in what was a disastrous 2023 Ryder Cup for captain Zach Johnson may have just occurred.

Johnson has faced so much ridicule since the US lost the 2023 Ryder Cup, and a lot of it was probably deserved. But in all honesty, I think it’s time for the US and their fans to move on, and hopefully what Bradley shared will cause that to happen.

Bradley shared: "I feel terrible for what he's (Zach Johnson) had to go through and I feel so honored that he called." And, according to Dan Rapaport, that “call” from Johnson was to inform Bradley that he was being selected as the 2025 Ryder Cup captain.

I view this as a passing of the torch moment, a way to turn the page from 2023 to 2025. Nothing about the past can be changed, so it’s time to move on and follow Bradley and see how next year’s Ryder Cup unfolds.
