Finau is another player I expected to perform well in the treacherous conditions at The Open, but a disastrous second round led to an early exit for "Big Tone."

While his major championship resume remains wanting, Finau has always enjoyed these summertime events. Victorious at this event in 2022, he will look to bottle up some of the magic that gave him his third PGA Tour victory, in which he trailed by five strokes with 11 holes to play.

With the Presidents Cup nearing, Finau currently sits at ninth in the US standings. The top six automatically get a spot, so a high finish this week would go a long way. He is sure to be motivated after missing out on the last Ryder Cup in Rome.

Finau is clearly the headline this week, and he has an excellent shot to capture his 7th PGA Tour victory.
