4. Tom Kim

I think people forget just how young Tom Kim is. At just 22 years of age, it feels like Kim has been on Tour for a while because of all the success he’s had, but his career is only getting started.

Kim first appeared on Tour at the Scottish Open in 2022, where he finished 3rd. This got him into the British Open the following week where he played extremely well again and finished eighth. He then got special status on the PGA Tour and took advantage of that quickly by finishing seventh in Detroit, and then winning the Wyndham Championship the next week.

Since then, Kim has continued to play well and has racked up two more PGA Tour wins. He hasn’t won yet this year, but he had a close call at the Travelers after losing to Scottie Scheffler in a playoff.

Kim has yet to win a major in his career, but this week could easily be his week. Kim has finished in the top 25 in all three of his Open starts, but I believe this week could be the week where he finally wins the first major of his career.
