OWGR: 52nd. FedEx Cup: 64th. Adam Scott. 6. 6

Adam Scott has fared well in his two visits to TPC Craig Ranch.

His 2022 course debut resulted in T-32nd (67-69-71-65). Scott improved to T-8th (63-71-68-63) a year ago.

In 2023, the Aussie co-led the field in birdies with 26. He was third in Strokes Gained: Putting (5.885), 16th in SG: Around-the-Green (2.471), and fifth in driving distance (318.3).

Scott can still bomb it out there pretty good well into his 40s.

“Coming here on a course that's going to throw a lot of birdies out there, getting in that attack mindset was key,” Scott was transcribed by ASAP Sports in 2023, “and take advantage of the good swings.”

He brings solid form into The CJ Cup Byron Nelson

Scott has recorded nine top-22 finishes in his last 11 starts going back to late 2023.

The former Masters champ comes to Texas well rested with two weeks off following T-22nd at this year’s Masters.

Scott is gaining strokes in every category this season on the PGA Tour. Most notably he’s 16th in SG: Putting (.565) and 26th in SG: Total (.802).

From 175-200 yards, the former UNLV Rebel is second in average approach proximity (28’1”). He’s also 26th in putts made from 25 or more feet (7.5%) and fourth from 20-25 feet (21.43%).

Scott will likely be a captain’s pick for the International team at this fall’s Presidents Cup, but a win this week would go a long way in locking up one of the six automatic spots.

Currently, he’s 12th in the International team standings.
