Fantasy Golf: Sony Open DFS Final Round Showdown Picks

This Sunday, the PGA Tour presents fantasy golf fans with the final round of the 2024 Sony Open. Let's take a look at this week's event from a DraftKings/fantasy golf perspective.
The final round of the 2024 Sony Open will be played at the Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Before I discuss my fantasy golf/DraftKings player selections I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact lineup for a specific fantasy provider.
Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my final round DraftKings Showdown Player Selections for the 2024 Sony Open.
2024 Sony Open: Sunday Showdown Selections
Chris Kirk $10,200
Since the beginning of June, Chris Kirk has played nine tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those nine events just mentioned, Kirk has accumulated six top-29 finishes, including a win at last week's 2024 Sentry.
In relation to this week's current listed 2024 Sony Open field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Chris Kirk ranks 13th in strokes gained approach, eighth in total DraftKings points scored, and ninth in birdie or better percentage.
It should also be noted that Chris Kirk finished third at the 2023 Sony Open.
Nick Taylor $7,500
The talented Canadian has accumulated three top-25 finishes in his last four events played on the PGA Tour, including a 13th-place result at the 2023 Shriners Children's Open in October.
Eric Cole $9,100
Since the beginning of September, Eric Cole has played six tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those six events just noted, Eric Cole has accumulated an impressive five top-14 finishes, including a third-place result at the 2023 RSM Classic in November.
