Top 70: Inside the cut line

65th: Brendon Todd

Todd was one of the "bubble boys" coming into the Wyndham last week.

But that is exactly where he excels.

The 39-year-old's last win came at the Mayakoba Classic in 2019, but he has consistently scrapped and grinded to paydays the old-fashioned way -- by making cuts.

He has made 18/22 cuts this season, with just two top tens to show for it.

The vet's stoic nature and ability to stay even-keeled has proven to be a weapon. He very well may not win another PGA Tour event, but he will always be in the mix, as demonstrated by his T12 last week to stay inside the top 70.

67th: Nick Dunlap

One of the game's most promising young stars, Dunlap made history at the Barracuda Championship, becoming the first player in history to win an event as an amateur and a professional in the same year.

At just 20, the golf world is already buzzing about the illustrious career ahead of him.

The Alabama product currently sits in 67th place, but only because he did not receive any points for his win at The American Express, as he had not yet turned pro.

Dunlap was on FedEx Cup Top 70 watch this week but managed to sneak in at 67th place even with a missed cut.

He will make his FedEx Cup Playoffs premiere this week in Memphis.

70th: Victor Perez

Paris's golden boy, Perez was 70th in the standings coming into the Wyndham.

A gutsy up and down at the last hole resulted in a T33: just barely enough to edge out Davis Riley and others to claim the last spot in the standings.

Perez's closing nine is what makes the Wyndham so special --although he is wholly out of contention, the fate of his season is at stake.
