Predicting Tiger Woods' 2024 Schedule: May

The month of May is also pretty easy to predict where Tiger will play. He will most likely play in the PGA Championship barring injury. It is a major championship he has won 4 times: 1999, 2000, 2006, and 2007.

This year it will be held at Valhalla Golf Club in Kentucky, the site where he won in dramatic fashion over Bob May in a playoff back in 2000. You can bet Tiger wants to see if he can get another PGA at Valhalla over 23 years after the last time he did it.

The Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow is another tournament in May that Woods has competed in before, but given that it is the week before the PGA, Woods will likely choose to be rested going into a major.

Predicting Tiger Woods' 2024 Schedule: June

June seems like it will be another "major only" month for Woods as the U.S. Open is in June and will be held at Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina. Woods has won the U.S. Open three times: in 2000 at Pebble Beach, 2002 at Bethpage Black, and 2008 at Torrey Pines.

Woods competed at the U.S. Open when it was at Pinehurst in 2005 and finished runner-up to Michael Campbell. He was unable to compete in 2014 due to injury, so if he is able to play it this year it will be his first time seeing it after the "restoration" which returned to the original look and feel of Pinehurst when it was designed by Donald Ross.

In the past, Tiger has competed in and won at Jack Nicklaus' Memorial Tournament in June, but again this falls the week before the U.S. Open so Woods will likely skip it to ensure his body is ready to go for Pinehurst.
