Since joining the LPGA Tour in 2022, Lauren Hartlage had only two top 10s in her career. Now this season she has equaled that total and is one tournament away from making the most cuts during a season for her career.

This past weekend, the third-year pro finished in a tie for seventh at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. She made 19 birdies during the 3-day tournament. It was a strong rebound in a tournament that saw her shoot two over during the first five holes. She double-bogeyed the third hole but came back strong.

During the second round, Lauren had her lowest round of the year shooting a 64. "Yeah, I was hitting my tee shots really well. I think I only missed the last fairway maybe, and so was giving myself some good positions into the green. With the greens being pretty soft you can kind of fire some darts in there, and that's kind of what I did today," Hartlage told reporters after the second round. The round saw her hit on eight birdies through the full 18 holes.

Lauren Hartlage had a breakthrough this season at the Women's PGA Championship

She finished in a tie for fifth at Sahalee Country Club in June.

Hartlage was just two shots behind the leader entering Sunday at the major. It was her third straight top-25 finish on the year.

She has eclipsed more than $500,00 in money earned this year and ranks 57th on this year's official money list. At the moment she is in 42nd place in green hit from fairway percentage with a mark of 78.45%. Additionally, Lauren ranks 45th in three put average per round at 0.85.

There are four tournaments left this season and Hartlage is next scheduled to tee off at the Buick LPGA Shanghai in two weeks. She should also qualify for the BMW Ladies Championship which takes place in the middle of October.

Hartlage's solid season should lead to her being a mainstay on the tour for years to come. If she can add another top 10 or top 25 finish this year it would allow her to take a great deal of momentum into 2025.
