8) Patton Kizzire

Sometimes it's just your week. It was certainly his week in Napa.

Kizzire makes for an interesting case this week. On one hand, he was ranked 277th by Data Golf and 252nd by the World Golf Ranking prior to his victory at the Procore Championship.

But a wire-to-wire finish cannot be ignored; Kizzire never once took his foot off the gas. A fluke? It's possible -- he gained over two strokes with the putter, so it is reasonable to expect regression to the mean.

Still, his performance absolutely warrants him a spot in the top ten.

7) Seamus Power

What an interesting year it's been for Seamus Power. Of the 70 that qualified for the FedEx Cup Playoffs, Power was the only one without a top ten. He then finished tenth at TPC Southwind at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

The Irishman is one of the more popular names in the field this week, and he currently sits at 56th in the fall standings, inside the top 60 cutline for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Genesis Invitational. Power will need a strong fall swing to maintain his position.

He's gained over eight strokes combined in his last seven starts, so it looks like his game is headed in the right direction. This will undoubtedly be the weakest field he's played this year, so look for him to push for a top-ten in Jackson.
