The World No.1 has rightfully carried that title for some time now, but after winning his second Green Jacket in three years at the 2024 Masters, Scottie Scheffler has etched his name amongst the greats of the game.

Scheffler was relentless all week in his pursuit of a second career major title. Every time the Masters champion was faced with adversity he responded. Perhaps the defining moment of Scheffler's march to glory came during Saturday's third round when he responded after dropping three shots on consecutive holes with a dramatic eagle on Augusta National's Par 5, 13th hole. A swing of momentum that sent the World No.1 back up the leaderboard.

On Sunday at the Masters, he once again bounced back after dropping two shots over a four-hole stretch. His answer this time was emphatic as he birdied three consecutive holes as he made the turn down the closing stretch. The 27-year-old dropped another shot on the difficult 11th but added an additional three birdies to his card en route to closing 33 on the back nine.

While Scottie avoided multiple costly mistakes and met the adversity he was always going to encounter on a Sunday at the Masters head-on, the competition around him failed to match his relentless pace and in the end, faded away. This year's Masters champion signed for a 4-under 68 and overwhelmed the competition on the way to a four-stroke win.

Following the ceremony at Butler Cabin, Scheffler continued the celebrations on the 18th green at Augusta National and received the Green Jacket from Jon Rahm.

Scheffler joins an elite group of 17 others in the history of the Masters to have won the Green Jacket on multiple occasions. Scheffler carried a marginal one-stroke advantage into the final round of this year's Masters and Per Justin Ray on social media, 'became the first player to win the Masters by three or more strokes twice in three years'.

The now two-time major champion pulled away from a group of challengers including impressive Masters debutant, Ludvig Aberg, Tommy Fleetwood, Max Homa, and Collin Morikawa, on Sunday at the Masters.
