TGL Preseason Power Rankings

1. Los Angeles Golf Club (Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose)
Not to be big-market biased, but LAGC seems like they should be the best team this season. Justin Rose should probably be a non-factor in the playing, but it's always helpful to have a strong veteran presence in the locker room. Tommy Fleetwood, the other Brit on the team, should be able to provide more solid play coming out of the 2/3 slot (the man knows how to perform in Ryder Cup years, so i'd expect that trend to continue).
This year, I am expecting that Collin Morikawa finds his way truly back to his level of play where he was winning majors (also don't be surprised if the guy that won two majors in infamously benign conditions ends up thriving in a controlled, indoor environment). Maybe getting to fully represent his native Los Angeles will unlock another gear in Morikawa's game.
Let's be honest with ourselves, there's one man who is going to benefit massively from the extra exposure: Sahith. The budding star that is Sahith Theegala should explode this year, and the focus on trying to make a good television product is going to work so well with Theegala's personality. On top of that, I expect him to fully breakthrough this year and win multiple tournaments, so the birth of golf superstar Sahith Theegala should coincide with LAGC having a strong inaugural season. Just put them in the playoffs already, we know they'll be there in the end.
