Golf This Week – Shell Houston Open, ANA Inspiration, Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic and early 2017 Masters Tournament television coverage schedule.

ProGolfNow is going to save you some time and frustration. Beginning this week we’ll publish Golf This Week every Monday, highlighting television coverage of major (and sometimes minor) golf events.

Note that all broadcast times are given in ET. You’ll need to make the appropriate conversion for your time zone. This week, Golf Channel has a lock on the coverage schedule.

Golf Channel

Monday, March 27, 9pm: David Feherty sits down for a chat with Condoleezza Rice. I always enjoy Feherty. He’s one of the best interviewers in the business, and I’m really looking forward to this one. Condoleezza Rice is an amazing and very engaging woman – scholar, diplomat, sports fan, golfer, and risk-taking adventurer are all ways to describe this woman who took up the game in her 50s, was one of the first women invited to join Augusta National Golf Club, and who never misses the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. I intend to kick back and enjoy this one.

Wednesday, March 29, 11am: If you’re not locked in to a daytime work schedule or out on the golf course yourself, and if you missed Feherty’s conversation with Patrick Reed, you might want to take the time to watch this replay. Reed’s a more complex person than I understood and I very much enjoyed getting to know him a bit better.

Thursday, March 30, 12 noon: Live coverage of the 1st round of the ANA Inspiration, the LPGA’s first Major of the 2017 season. The field is very strong and I’m expecting the golf to be exciting from the first tee shot to the final putt. If you’re looking for betting tips, I’ve already ranked the top of the field.

More from Pro Golf Now

Thursday, March 30, 4pm: 1st round coverage of the PGA TOUR’s Shell Houston Open, the final tune-up opportunity before the 2017 Masters. Don’t miss the power rankings of the field by ProGolfNow’s Sam Belden.

Friday, March 31: ANA Inspiration 2nd round coverage begins at noon and Shell Houston Open 2nd round coverage begins at 4pm. If you haven’t had enough golf, you can watch the opening round of the Champions Tour Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic beginning at 9:30pm.

Saturday, April 1: Start your day at 6am with 2nd round coverage of the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic (If you missed the 2nd round of the ANA Inspiration and don’t know how to operate your DVR, you can watch the replay beginning at 9am.)  Broadcast coverage of the Shell Houston Open 3rd round begins at 1pm and delayed broadcast 3rd round ANA Inspiration coverage begins at 5pm.

Sunday, April 2: This will be fun: start your Sunday with the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship. Coverage begins at 8am. Then the Shell Houston Open final round broadcast begins at 1pm and the ANA Inspiration final round delayed coverage starts at 5pm, so if you’re a women’s golf fan you’ll have time for an afternoon round before you settle down to see who takes the leap into Poppy’s Pond this year.
