Snedeker may only be the 29-ranked golfer in the world, but he’s been red hot all season. Snedeker has four top-10 finishes since June, which has him tied for second with eight total this season. Only Jordan Spieth has more this season. Snedeker’s recent success is due to his hot putter. He currently ranks fifth in strokes gained from putting (.633).
He may be a long shot, but if Snedeker continues to make cuts, he should be in contention come round four. With four top-10 major finishes in his career, Snedeker is looking to finally get over the hump.
