Unfortunately for Woods, things don’t seem to be getting much better. The 39-year-old antihero finished day one at Whistling Straits with a +3 on 75 strokes. Most of Woods’ problems came early, racking up 3 bogies within the first six holes. After that, he was pretty adequate, collecting two bogies and one birdie.
It looks like Woods is still in a funk. Since his collapse, this may be the worst season Woods has ever had. So far this year, in nine events, he does not have a single top-10 finish. Hopefully things turn around for Woods on day two.
