Zach Johnson entered thursday tied for second with eighth top-10 finishes this season, but he was unable to carry that success into Whistling Straits.

Johnson got off to a rough start, and finished +3 on 75 strokes. Over the last seven holes, Johnson had three bogies and failed to record a single birdie. Many fans expected big things from Johnson considering he’s been one of golf’s most consistent players this season, but unfortunately, things did not work out for the 39-year-old veteran.
Being three over isn’t the end of the world, but it’s not a good start.
