2002 Winner Nick Price

2002: Nick Price

A native of Zimbabwe, Nick Price won 18 golf tournaments while playing on the PGA Tour. Three of those titles came in the form of a Major Championship. Price was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2003 and awarded the Bob Jones Award for sportsmanship a couple years later.

Among his many charitable acts, Price supports the Harare Shelter for Destitutes in his native Zimbabwe. The shelter houses 150 children whose parents are either blind or have passed away due to the AIDS virus.

Every year, Price teams with local businessmen in South Florida for the “Milk Jug” charity golf tournament. The tournament donates money to many charities, with Adopt-A-Family, the Boys & Girls Club, and the Broken Star Fund to name a few.
