2000: Jack Nicklaus

Jack Nicklaus is considered by many to be the greatest golfer of all time, and the “Golden Bear” has the stats to support that claim. Nicklaus tallied 73 PGA Tour victories in his career. His 18 major championships is a record that may never be broken.

The Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation provides funding for valuable programs and services for more than 4,000 hospitalized children and their families. His continued work with the “Big 3” and the Mountain Mission School were previously mentioned. It’s because of these and other selfless acts that Jack and his wife Barbara were elected to the Ambassador David M. Walter International Pediatric Hall of Fame in 2010.

Next: 2000, Arnold Palmer
