$9,900-$9,000
Adam Scott ($9,900) is an interesting pick. Scott played very well last week at the CIMB Classic. Scott, as usual, struck the ball well, but the difference was he was able to sink some putts.
If Scott can continue to roll in the putts he’ll be back atop the leaderboard week in and week out.
Like Adam Scott, Hideki Matsuyama ($9,800) struggled at the Presidents Cup. Also, like Scott, Matsuyama hasn’t been able to make a putt. But, of late, his putter has been better.
Matsuyama has started off the new season well because he’s making putts. Matsuyama has the profile to compete here at Sheshan, he didn’t last year, but we’ll see if that changes this year.

I’m fading Kevin Na ($9,500). This golf course doesn’t suit his game and he has played extremely well that he is bound to fall back a bit.
Plus, this will be the strongest field to date and I’m thinking Na definitely won’t be competing this week. A T-25 seems more in the cards and I don’t want to pay up for that.
I don’t usually like taking golfers that just won, but I may make an exception this week with Justin Thomas ($9,400).
Thomas is playing great and has the profile to compete here at Sheshan. In fact, I already had it in my head that I was probably going to pillar my teams with Thomas and Tony Finau.
Unfortunately, Finau isn’t playing and with Thomas winning his salary gets a nice bump. So, that won’t be the case now, but I’ll still have my fair share of exposure.
I don’t have any problems with the rest of the group. Shane Lowry ($9,300), Paul Casey ($9,200), Sergio Garcia ($9,100), Martin Kaymer ($9,100), and Brendan Grace ($9,000).
Casey has an excellent history here, Garcia and Kaymer are former winners. Lowry has played extremely well of late, and Grace had an excellent showing at the Presidents Cup.
More than likely, I won’t have much exposure on this little group just due to the fact that you have to draw the line somewhere.
