Like everything else in the Bay Area, golf can get a little funky at times. Just relax and enjoy it!

What golf courses come immediately to mind when you think of the San Francisco Bay Area?  The Olympic Club – host to five US Opens – and it’s muni sister, TPC Harding Park – most recently the site of the 2015 WGC-Cadillac Match Play.

You’ll need a membership connection to get a tee time at any of The Olympic Club courses and TPC Harding Park might be a little bit beyond your wallet, although if you plan ahead you could pick up a nice holiday gift package bargain for this public access course.

Keeping in mind that I’m an average golfer in almost ever respect, from my driving skills to my pocketbook, let me share with you my five personal favorite Bay Area golf courses.
