Branden Grace’s play in 2015 show that he will be someone to watch for week in and week out

In a lot of ways Branden Grace and Shane Lowry are in the same boat. They both made significant strides last year and they will look to carry that momentum into 2016.

Lowry notched a big win at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, but while the big win alluded Grace, I believe he had the better year and is more equipped to becoming a star.

Grace, technically, won twice last year for the season. Grace won at the Alfred Dunhill Championship and Grace won at the Qatar Masters.

However, Grace’s highlights for the year came later as he was right in the thick of things at the U.S. Open. One bad shot cost him a chance at victory.

Grace followed that up with a T-20 finish at The Open Championship and he finished 3rd at the PGA Championship.

Plus, did you see how well Grace performed at the Presidents Cup? He and Louis Oosthuzien were an unstoppable force. Grace was a perfect 5-0 and almost led his team to a big upset over Team USA.

I know, for me personally, it was fun watching the event while doing some live tweets on the Pro Golf Now twitter account. Grace was absolutely spot on that weekend.

Grace has shown all the tools and the mental makeup with the spotlight at its brightest to possibly breakthrough as a potential worldwide star in golf.

The window is now wide open for Grace to notch some wins and possibly some majors in 2016 and beyond into the future.
