Malnati was one of the cheapest options in the field for the Hyundai Tournament of Champions last week, but if you took a gamble on him it paid off. Despite being overlooked by most, Malnati posted two bogey-free rounds and place tied for sixth at -17.

He won the Sanderson Farm Championship back in November and built on his success since then. In the six events he started in 2015-16, Malnati has made five cuts and placed in the top 10 in three of those events.

Keep an eye for this kid to sneak his way into the winner circle soon enough.
