Snapshot previews and tv schedules for this week’s PGA, LPGA and European Tour events –

PGA, LPGA and European Tour events this week are all heating up to produce some fine golf. Around the Tours there’s going to be plenty of great action for golf fans.

Our snapshot previews and tv schedules will help you get ready and stay on track as play unfolds.

The PGA TOUR heads to Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, NC for the Wells Fargo Championship. This week’s tournament will see the return of Jim Furyk who has been out of action with a wrist injury.

As the ProGolfNow team sees it, defending champion Rory McIlroy will lead the field to the tee on Thursday. In 2015 McIlroy won by seven strokes over Patrick Rodgers and all bets seem to be with McIlroy again this year.

Still, there are challengers. Check out our Top-10 Power Rankings – they could help you pick the Wells Fargo Championship winner this year – and our Top 5 Fantasy Golf Picks, which will help you put your team together. We’re also taken a close look at the DraftKings salaries and have three lineup combinations that vary the risk/reward equation.

The LPGA Tour heads to the deep south this week for the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic at the RTJ Golf Trail, Capitol Hill, Senator Course in Prattville, AL. Last year Kris Tamulis came from three shots back in the final round to defeat Austin Ernst and Yani Tseng by one stroke. A 10-year Tour veteran, with the win Tamulis became a Rolex First-Time Winner.

Can Tamulis repeat? It’s not likely. There’s a strong group of young contenders who are going to try to stop her. Nine of the top 20 players in the Rolex Rankings, some of them playing very hot golf and all of them wanting to hoist the trophy, will be challenging. Keep an eye on Lydia Ko, Ha Na Jang, and Hyo Joo Kim.

Don’t overlook Megan Khang. The promising young American rookie is already making her presence felt on the Tour.

Check out the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic Top 10 Power Rankings so you can set your roster at Ladies Dream Golf the best fantasy golf for the LPGA tour.
