I’m going with a grinder for my fantasy team.

I’d really like to see Paula Creamer and Michelle Wie playing the weekend. I don’t know about Creamer. This is her 2nd 2017 start and she missed the Pure Silk Bahamas cut, so even though she’s the 2014 winner at the Women’s Champions I think she’d be a risky addition to my team.

Wie also missed the Pure Silk Bahamas cut but with her new putting stroke she did play the weekend at the Women’s Australian Open. Still, I think I need to see more game from Wie before I take the risk and put her on my team.

The stronger pick from this group might be Angela Stanford, who’s played in both the Women’s Australian Open and the Honda LPGA Thailand and made both cuts. She’s acclimated to the climate and she’s a grinder. I think I can depend on her to stay in the game through Sunday.

If you don’t like Stanford, give Megan Khang, Austin Ernst, or Moriya Jutanugarn a long look. Khang stumbled at the Australian Open but delivered a game that got her to Sunday in Thailand. Ernst and Jutanugarn are both 3 for 3 this season and they both finished on the front page of the leaderboard in Thailand.  I’m looking for all four of these players to go to Sunday in Singapore.

Good luck with your team! Share your picks and tips in the comments section.
