Jason Dufner

OWGR: 65th

Odds: 125/1

Unfortunately for his legion of fans, Dufner will probably never again play as well as he did during his career peak. Between 2012 and 2013, he picked up three PGA Tour wins, including the PGA Championship at Oak Hill, but the past few years haven’t gone quite as smoothly.

But even so, Dufner has enough skill to make a run at a green jacket under the right conditions. The 39-year-old has putted quite well this season and really improved out of the sand, so he has the right skills to hang in there on Masters Sunday. What’s more, he’s notched four top 25 finishes in his last five PGA Tour starts, so his game is rounding into form just in time for the year’s first major. With six major top 10s in the last seven years, we know he can remain steady under an intense spotlight. Although he’s never finished in the top 10 at Augusta, he’s only made six career starts at the course, and two of those resulted in a top 25.

Dufner may not be what he once was, but he’s got the experience to mount a challenge at Augusta National. Count him out at your own risk.
