LPGA LOTTE Championship Power Rankings (Video)
Sung Hyun Park’s only weakness, if she actually has a weakness, is that she has no experience playing Ko Olina. This year will be her debut. But she hadn’t played Evian-les-Bains or CordeValle last year, and that lack of familiarity with the golf course didn’t slow her down.

Park hits a long ball off the tee, although it can at times take off in an unusual direction. But she’s good at recovering from her mistakes, ranks 13th on the Tour in GIR, so those errant shots aren’t hurting her too badly. And, curiously, even those she ranks 50th in putting average (29.38 putts per round), she ranks 4th on the Tour in scoring average and 1st in rounds in the 60s.
Sung Hyun Park’s personal goal is to hold the No. 1 spot in the Rolex Rankings. She knows she needs some wins to achieve that goal, and she has the game to get the job done. I’m looking for Park to put that game to work this week in a serious way.
