Chad Campbell — $7,100

It certainly feels like this Texan has been around forever, but at just 42 years of age, he’s got some time before his Champions Tour eligibility kicks in. Thank goodness he still has what it takes to contend on the PGA Tour, especially on courses that require precise ball striking.

With a pair of top 35s in his last three starts, including a tie for 11th at the Valspar Championship, Campbell has enough momentum to make a run at the trophy this week. The main X-factor will be his putting; even when he’s feeling it, his performance on the greens is usually mediocre at best, but the difference between mediocre and terrible can loom large on a scorecard. Luckily for Campbell, he ranks 21st on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: approach-the-green, so a great ball striking week can help mask his woes with the flatstick. In terms of course history, he’s notched several solid finishes in his career at the RBC Heritage, including a tie for 23rd last year.

Campbell isn’t going to be a popular pick with the Vegas oddsmakers, but at just $7,100 in DraftKings, he’s capable of sliding into your fantasy lineup. If you’re looking for a flier, he’s a good option.
