Around the Tours: Golf TV Broadcast Schedule, April 17-23
There are 5 pro events this week around the Tours as well as several tv features and the classic movie, Tin Cup. Golf Channel remains the go-to live coverage source.
Around the Tours there’s a good bit of golf action coming up this week. Although the LPGA is taking the week off, from Texas and Missouri and Indiana to Spain and China there’s going to be plenty of pro golf action.
The PGA TOUR will be contending the Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio. Charley Hoffman’s the defending champion. ProGolfNow’s Sam Belden will be providing his weekly fantasy golf and betting tips and Golf Channel will broadcast live coverage of all four rounds.
Golf Channel will also provide coverage of The Champions Tour Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Missouri and the Web.com Tour’s United Leasing and Financing Championship at Newburgh, Indiana.

The European Tour will be in China for the Shenzhen International – Bubba Watson headlines a field that includes Tommy Fleetwood and Jon Rahm – and the Ladies European Tour will be contending the Estrella Damm Mediterranean Open in Spain.
Golf Channel will cover the Shenzhen International but not the LET event. Fans should check the LET YouTube Channel, which generally streams the 3rd and 4th rounds of LET events. (If you’re monitoring the run-up to the Solheim Cup this is an event you’ll want to follow. Carlota Ciganda, Mel Reid, Gwladys Nocera, Azahara Munoz, Nicole Broch Larsen, and Anna Nordqvist are in the field!)
Although the live action doesn’t start until Thursday, let me alert you to several early week Golf Channel shows you may want to catch. All times are listed in ET. You’ll need to make the conversion for your own time zone.
