Texas Open: Top 5 DraftKings Picks for TPC San Antonio
By Sam Belden
Michael Kim — $6,700
This Cal product hasn’t been of much use to fantasy managers through his first season-and-a-half on the PGA Tour, but that could change this week. If you’re digging through the bargain bin, Kim has a chance to provide some nice value, so don’t make the mistake of writing him off.

While he missed the cut at last week’s RBC Heritage, Kim was displaying some solid form before that, reeling off a tie for 17th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and a tie for 12th at the Shell Houston Open in successive starts. It’s no surprise that he putted well in both of those events — he currently ranks 12th on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: putting, making him one of the circuit’s hottest players with the flatstick. That’s definitely a plus at a course like TPC San Antonio. In terms of course history, he notched a tie for 21st in his debut last year, and he’s only more equipped to shoot low scores this time around.
There aren’t many reliable options below the $7,000 mark, but with his solid skill set, Kim has a chance to provide value this week. If you’ve got a top-heavy lineup, the 23-year-old is worth a flier.
