Jon Rahm — $11,100

If there’s one thing we know about this 22-year-old prodigy, it’s this: he’s one of the quickest studies in the game. In just five years since arriving in the United States, Rahm’s accomplishments include learning English, winning back-to-back Ben Hogan Awards and, as of this week, rising to the ninth spot in the Official World Golf Ranking in less than a year of PGA TOUR action. The Spaniard is clearly cut from a different cloth, so you should give him due consideration for your fantasy lineup this week.

Rahm has picked up a whopping six top-five finishes this year, including a share of second place at last week’s Dean & DeLuca Invitational. This week’s venue, the imposing Muirfield Village, will present a different kind of challenge, but it’s one that Rahm is more than capable of meeting. At third on the PGA TOUR in both strokes gained: off-the-tee and strokes gained: approach-the-green, he’s bound to have plenty of scoring opportunities this week. While his putter has been somewhat sluggish of late, he ranks 25th in proximity to the hole.

Rahm’s $11,100 DraftKings salary is a sizable setback for any fantasy manager, but you’ll be getting a whole lot of firepower for that sum. Invest with confidence.
