Memorial Tournament 2017: Round 3 tee times & pairings
By Luke Norris
Here are the tee times and pairings for Saturday’s third round of the Memorial Tournament.
The Memorial Tournament certainly hasn’t disappointed thus far. Jason Dufner, who shot a pair of 7-under 65s the first two days to set the 36-hole scoring record at this event, sits at 14-under for the tournament, five shots clear of second-place Daniel Summerhays, who followed up his first-round 66 with a 3-under 69 on Friday and is at 9-under.
Rickie Fowler is in solo third at 8-under after a 66 of his own on Friday and a trio of competitors, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas and Jamie Lovemark are tied four fourth at 6-under. Matt Kuchar, who’s had great success at the Memorial, leads a group of five sitting nine shots back of Dufner at 5-under. Defending champion William McGirt
Notable names missing the cut include world No. 1 Dustin Johnson, who fired a disastrous 78 on Thursday and followed it up with a 2-over 74 on Friday to miss the weekend by five shots. Also not teeing it up for the next two days is Jon Rahm, who many thought would be a big contender this week but rounds of 73 and 77 put that to rest. Billy Horschel, who got himself back into the top 50 in the world two weeks ago with a win at the Byron Nelson, is also headed home. He shot a 1-under 71 on Friday but an opening-round 78 was just too much to overcome.
Here are the tee times and pairings for Round 3 at the Memorial Tournament. (All times Eastern.)
