Stewart Cink — $6,800

It’s been a long time since this veteran won his last PGA TOUR event — nearly eight years, in fact — but if the past few weeks have been any indication, he’s still got some gas left in the tank. After failing to qualify in 2015 and 2016, Cink will be making his first start at the U.S. Open in three years, and he should be more motivated to perform than ever.

Cink will enter this week on a run of three consecutive top 25 finishes: a tie for 10th at the Dean and DeLuca Invitational, a tie for 25th at the Memorial Tournament and another tie for 10th at last week’s FedEx St. Jude Classic. That bodes well for his chances heading into the U.S. Open, where he’s notched seven top 25 finishes in his career. At 14th on the PGA TOUR in strokes gained: approach-the-green and 19th in strokes gained: putting, his skill set should be a solid match for the conditions.

At just $6,800 in DraftKings, Cink has a chance to be a sneaky-good bargain play this week. He probably won’t find the winner’s circle, but if you’re looking for a low-cost flier, this 44-year-old is your guy.
