PARIS, FRANCE – JUNE 30: Peter Uihlein of United States of America looks on during the second round of the HNA Open de France. (Photo by Jan Kruger/Getty Images) /

Open de France

In Paris, Alexander Bjõrk and Peter Uihlein are going into the final Open de France round at 8-under and sharing a one-shot lead over a determined trio of challengers: Tommy Fleetwood, Thomas Pieters, and Andy Sullivan. It’s going to be a dazzling final round at Le Golf National.

Uihlein’s Saturday finish holds the promise of more heart-stopping golf today.

Uihlein is delivering a particularly outstanding game. At the 54-hole mark he’s recorded only two bogeys, the lowest in the field.

Fleetwood, who trails the leaders by one, struggled to get to greens on Saturday. He’ll seriously challenge Bjõrk and Uihlein if he has that problem sorted out.

Thomas Pieters provided a bit of drama for the gallery after he drove his ball into the water on the 9th.

Pieters can be hard on his clubs. Last year at Royal Troon he snapped one of his irons and tossed it in the brush. It wasn’t the club’s fault, not at Royal Troon and not at Le Golf National.

You can watch the Open de France final round action on Golf Channel this morning, starting at 7:30am ET.
