Patrick Rodgers — $7,100

More from Pro Golf Now

It’s been a tough year for this Stanford product, but he’s actually begun to show some signs of life over the past couple of weeks. Because of that, Rodgers has the potential to be a strong DraftKings play this week — he could help you make up a lot of ground on your opponents, and all at a low price.

With a tie for 35th at the Travelers Championship and a tie for 22nd at the Quicken Loans National in his last two starts, Rodgers’ results have steadily improved as the weather has warmed up. He owes that improvement to a rejuvenated putting stroke — he ranked sixth in the field in strokes gained: putting at TPC Potomac, providing a huge boost as the rest of his game stagnated as usual. He could only manage a tie for 60th in his first crack at the Old White TPC, but this time, with four full rounds under his belt and a bit of momentum, he should be in for a bigger paycheck.

At $7,100 in DraftKings, Rodgers is available at a bargain price this week, but he might not be for much longer. His putting stroke looks like a good match for the Greenbrier Classic, so invest away.
